Il Nido del Falco

An 18th-century villa above the Mediterranean, 500 metres over the sea.

A house with four centuries of history

Clinging to the rock, open to the horizon

Perched 500 metres above the Mediterranean, hidden among the limestone cliffs of Furore, Il Nido del Falco is an 18th-century villa that has been lovingly restored to blend old-world character with all the comforts of today.

Vines spill over the terrace, wild fennel and rocket perfume the breeze, and the Amalfi Coast unfolds endlessly below.

“A sun-drenched terrace shaded by grapevines. An aperitivo at golden hour. The sea shimmering a thousand feet below. This is what slow travel feels like.”

The village

Furore, one of the coast's best-kept secrets

Furore is the Amalfi Coast at its strongest and most authentic: a vertical village of daring houses clinging to sheer limestone cliffs above an impossibly blue sea.

It has none of the crowds of Positano or Ravello, yet everything that makes this coastline legendary: breathtaking views, excellent wine, outstanding food, and trails that lead through terraced vineyards to the edge of the world.

Just thirty steps above the villa, the local bus connects you directly to Amalfi, where ferries and coaches fan out along the coast.
